Brother Bryan Kern os07 who participated in the 2008 UIFI program summed up his experience:

"UIFI was a great experience and I very grateful that I was able to attend. It was truly a life changing experience. It made me really think about what Triangle means to me. I now know how to live the Ritual and plan on making not only my chapter a better place but also whatever I do after my time as an active.

I wish that every Triangle would be able to attend this type of learning experience. We would have better men and that would build better chapters. The NIC has really provided us with some very good resources that will only make our chapters stronger. I will encourage any Greek that I talk to that UIFI is something that you want to attend. It will make you a stronger person and a better leader in today's world."

Each year the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) sponsors a five-day leadership institute for fraternity and sorority members. Since its inception in 1990, UIFI has challenged nearly 3,000 fraternity and sorority students representing almost 250 different universities and colleges, and 115 different Greek affiliations to make a difference in the Greek communities.

UIFI is a principle-centered approach to creating change within a Greek community. Lessons learned at UIFI will be beneficial for a lifetime. It helps participants identify the timeless principles through which they can define themselves individually and organizationally. It then helps participants recognize how they can act out these principles by honing important life skills in areas such as leadership, group dynamics, service, and organizational change and development.
