Dads & Lads Event Worth Repeating at Michigan State

The weekend of July 11-13, the Michigan State chapter of Triangle Fraternity held an event called Dads and Lads. By the name of it you can tell that brothers invited their fathers to the fraternity house for a day of projects. This not only improved their house it also gave the fathers a chance to see what their sons are a part of and who they hang out with, for more than half the year.

During the weekend, they put in some new kitchen cabinets, built a bench in their basement, and cleaned up the outside of their house. This is the first of what they hope to be an annual event. Just so the dads did not feel like they were only there to work, their sons provided a BBQ lunch with cheeseburgers and brats.

After the work was completed, brothers, dads, and even a few alumni who showed up to help, enjoyed an outing to the local baseball field to watch the Lansing Lugnuts.
