In many parts of the country the United Way is gearing up their fall fund drive. Companies are selecting team leaders, planning interesting events and functions, and having their employees fill out their pledge cards.
Many local United Ways offer a donor choice program. This program allows donors to pick the charity that will be the beneficiary of their pledge. In some cases Triangle can be the named charity. Each local United Way has a different policy concerning this, so check with your companies United Way coordinator.
Last year the Triangle Foundation received several thousand dollars through the United Way donor choice program. We are grateful to all those Triangle brothers who have named Triangle as their charity of choice.
